But what if I already have a Funny Pics account and want to link it with my Facebook account?
If your Facebook account email is the same as the email you used for Funny Pics, logging in via Facebook will use your existing Funny Pics account. If the emails are not the same, logging in via Facebook will create a new account.

Greg Gorskiy: Why did you decide to make funny pics? And is it hard maintaining it and continuing to upload content?

A: We loved looking at funny pictures on the internet and thought it would be great to have an app that lets you view them from your mobile device. Our team has definitely grown in order to maintain the app and review the content.

hawkeye1084: Why did you pick a turtle for the funny pics app?

A: “I like turtles.”

S: I went looking for an icon that would have to do with laughter, and it was one of the best looking and fitting ones, so I went with it.

Keir Davis: Hai! How many image uploads from the community do you get on a daily basis?

A: We get hundreds of image uploads every day.

Mortified penguin: Do you ever read the comments on your applications? If so, how do you take the criticism?

A: Every day. “Lay down. Try not to cry. Cry a lot”.

Mortified penguin: Do you dislike fan communities like http://funnyproelites.com/ or http://www.facebook.com/Funnypiscommunity Or do you encourage them?

A: We love our user community, and it’s exciting whenever new fan communities are created.

BillNyetheAtheistGuy: Who is Jamal? I mean, this has to be the main question, everybody in the community has been asking that since he came here. Probably the biggest icon in all of the Funny Pics Community. Here’s what we want to know: do you have any way of knowing who “he” is? Have you ever talked to him? Is he a real user? or did you make him up for entertainment? The legend of Jamal has been the biggest mystery of Funny Pics! We need to know, who is Jamal?

A: Jamal was the first and only user that had his own image featured in our Funny Pics app. Yes, he is/was a real user.

S: One day we decided to approve an upload acknowledging his efforts on a whim, the way Sasuke let Naruto live on a whim.

BillNyetheAtheistGuy: Do you guys stay active in the comments? Does anybody ever monitor the comments to check for feedback on the app? Do you guys read our suggestions for the app to make it better?

A: We do add comments but mainly through the StuckPixel user account. We check for feedback in the comments every day and definitely take into consideration the suggestions that are made. We want to make an app that the users will enjoy the most.

S: We do read the suggestions and take them very seriously, but there’s a long list of things we want to do that takes some time.

Mortified penguin: Who’s the guy that thought up the April Fool’s prank this year? Buy him a beer for me.

A: Team effort, beer for everyone!

patrick_welch & Ashlar Barber Peronnet : What do you think of iFunny?

A: We know it’s an app similar to Funny Pics, but we try to focus more on our own apps and how we can improve them to provide the best entertainment and experience for our users.

Nick Bielamowicz: Question: can the Funny Pics users be expecting an update which will have notifications whenever there is an update?

S: I don’t want to give away too much, but yes, there is always a chance.

nike_addikted: Will you add a comment history option?

S: Yes, the underlying architecture has been put in place. There are several steps left needed to incorporate it into the application.

eatheplaya: Will you bring back the “posts” section?

S: No, posts have been incorporated into the rest of the application. Posts are apparent when there is an uploader noted for the image.

PotatOS: Are there going to be any additional features that the Pro version (or the free version, gotta keep them in mind too) will receive down the road? If so, can you give us a hint as to what some of the additions will be?

A: There will definitely be additional features coming to the app.

S: Many changes will be based around users and user interaction. We’re going to try to build the community as well as recognizing people for their contributions.

Invalid Chicken: WHY WONT YOU UPLOAD MY PICTURES

S: We have a personal vendetta against you. Just you. You’re the only person who doesn’t get their pictures uploaded. That or you’re posting images we don’t find funny or are reposts.

Your underwear: Who are you? Where do you come from?

Andrew: My name is Andrew and I’m from Los Angeles.

Simon: I’m Simon, and I grew up in New York. I moved to California for college.

Mortified Penguin: What are your qualifications? College degrees? Trade school diplomas? Do you feel that these helped your career, or added unnecessary debt?

A: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Definitely helped me build a solid foundation towards understanding software development.

S: UCI and Clown College. My computer science degree isn’t nearly as useful as spending all those years in clown college refining my juggling skills.

Your underwear: Who came up with the idea to start Stuckpixel?

A: Simon and I started making apps together when Apple first allowed developers to make apps for the iPhone, and it was his idea to create a company to do it.

S: I bounced around at a few jobs before co-founding StuckPixel with Andrew. We kind of just rode the success of our apps before deciding to create a company and do it full-time.

BillNyetheAtheistGuy: What are your relations between you two? How do you know each other? Do workers get along?

A: We met through mutual friends. We all get along, have lunches together, and hang out together outside of the office.

S: We met through friends of friends. The office is great, and everyone gets along pretty well. Most of us have known or been friends with each other before working together.

Mortified Penguin: What’s an average day at the office look like?

A: Lots of screaming, yelling, crying, and dogs barking…

BillNyetheAtheistGuy: What do you guys do to maintain the app? Who runs the app? Is it just you two? Or is it multiple people?

A: We go through cycles of creating, maintaining, and updating our apps throughout the year. There are multiple people who maintain and update the app.

Your underwear: What’s your favorite app/thing you’ve made as a company?

A: Top 3 (not in order): Funny Pics, Free App Tracker, Meme Factory.

S: Funny Pics is still my favorite but there are lots of apps in the works that could top it.

BillNyetheAtheistGuy: Will there ever be an IRL video/pictures for you guys/workers? What is your plan on us actually meeting you? Or do you want to keep this anonymous?

A: There are no plans at the moment. We are not trying to be anonymous, but we’d prefer to feature our apps rather than ourselves.

S: We have some pictures on the website! No plans for meeting yet, but there’s a possibility for something like that in the future. Just don’t be a Stan about it.

Mortified Penguin: What are your plans for the future, and what would you like to see from your fanbase?

A: Continue to improve our existing apps as well as come out with new, fun apps. The fanbase has been incredible, so many creative and hilarious pictures and comments. We hope they continue to enjoy and contribute to the growth of our apps.

S: We’re planning to get bigger on our picture viewing front and to take a step into the gaming front.

Otaruk: If you guys didn’t start this company, what would you be doing?

S: I would have likely chosen the progression of cat behavior consultant or penguinologist because of my love for animals.

Otaruk: Do you guys drink at work? Who out drinks who?

A: Once in a while. We’ve never competed to see who drinks the most but there are certainly some that can drink more than others.

S: Possibly. If we were to drink at work, Andrew and Brian would be the resident Koreans well renowned for their drinking prowess with Brian being unable to hold his liquor. Alvin would enjoy a whiskey every now and then if he were to allegedly drink.

Otaruk: What are your favorite sports teams?

A: GO LAKERS!

S: Coming from the New York, I’m a Knicks, Jets, and Yankees fan. Die hard Knicks fan.

Otaruk: What are your favorite apps? Any must have apps for everyday use?

A: Waze, Google Maps, Songza, Spotify, ScoreCenter, Venmo, and Uber.

S: Facebook, Sportacular, Waze, and Yelp. Of course all the StuckPixel apps

Mortified Penguin: How would you recommend those who are trying to get into the tech industry go about it?

A: Choose a field that truly interests you, learn the basics, follow developers/companies/blogs that create work in the same field, and start creating.
